1. LE PRELUDE AU GENOCIDE

Il comprend les périodes faisant référence aux massacres arméniens, couvrant principalement les années 1894-97 et 1909. Certains ouvrages listés font mention des traités internationaux précédants qui n'ont pas réussis à protéger les Arméniens. Ne sont inclus qu'un nombre limité d'ouvrages faisant référence à cette période.

2. LA PERIODE PRIMORDIALE

Cette période fait référence aux années 1915-1918 de la guerre mondiale. La majorité des ouvrages présentés font référence principalement à cette étape. D'un point de vue géographique, les territoires concernés par cette phase sont : le plateau d'Arménie, le secteur occidental principalement; l'Asie Mineure, ou l'Anatolie, comprenant l'historique Arménie de Sicilie; le Kurdistan du nord, comprenant les territoires assyriens; le nord ouest de l'Iran; la Trace orientale en Europe; ainsi que les déserts de Syrie et de Mésopotamie. Les régions pontiques de la Mer Noire souffrent de manière importante durant la période suivante.

3. LA PERIODE DE FINALISATION

Cette période fait référence aux années 1919-22. Les ouvrages listés dans cette période sont moins nombreux que ceux de la période précedante. Parmi les ouvrages inclus, seul un nombre limité traite de la disparition graduelle de l'identité nationale ottomane et de la montée de l'idéologie raciste-nationaliste du Turquisme ainsi que de son concepte expansioniste du Turanism-Panturkisme, de plus en plus d'actualité à partir de 1908. Bien que le concepte expansioniste est utilisé de manière prédominante durant l'étape précedante, le Turkisme, cependant, est utilisé de maniére systématique à partir de cette période.

4. LA PHASE DE DENI ENCOURAGEANT UNE PHYCHOLOGIE DE REPETITION

Cette étape s'est énormement développée avec des conséquences pour l’avenir. Elle commence en 1921 avec le Traité d'Amitié conclu, en toute mauvaise foi, entre l'état criminel et l'état russe. Cela a été mis en lumière, en outre, lors de la signature du Traité de Lausanne en juillet 1923. Un de ses objectifs principaux a été de cacher et de dévier les réalités concernant l'Arménie et les Arméniens. Cette orientation s'est traduite par une volonté de dissimuler les clauses pertinantes du Traité de Paix de Sèvres d'août 1920. Les résolutions adoptées unanimement par la Société des Nations étaient systématiques et contre un tel développement. En conséquence, cette tendance à la mauvaise foi reste d'actualité.

Le refus des faits et les corrections nécéssaires continuent d'alimenter les choses mal faites. Moins de deux décennies plus tard le gouvernement nazi déclarait que le Génocide Arménien restait inégalé, et en le prenant comme exemple, s'est dirigé vers un programme de destruction génocidaire massif. Donc, cette fameuse malfaisance du passé d'un certain nombre de super puissances est complice dans cet échec. Pour les nations perpétratrices, c'est une responsabilité collective.

Des ouvrages plus récents évoquent la phase de déni. Certains mentionnent divers génocides. Les réalités actuelles démontrent que pratiquement tous les historiens et les experts en matière de génocide, à part ceux qui ont directement ou indirectement travaillé ou qui ont été impliqué dans les perpétrations de ces actes, classifient la destruction arménienne comme un génocide. Des ouvrages d'experts prouvent ceci de manière prédominante.
